February 28, 2024 - In business, these days it’s all about connecting with the HEARTS and SOULS of your tribe. If you connect you REAP REWARDS. I'm talking about companies that do good.
Look at what Mary Leigh Bliss, VP of Content, Pulse (Forbes) concludes, “We know that authenticity is incredibly important to Millennial consumers - though we’ve found that’s not the exact word they think of when describing what brands appeal to them. Instead, they think of a brand that is true to themselves.
”Then, there are companies like Dove, Nike, and Netflix, all of which scored among the highest on the Pulse’s “true to themselves.” All these companies are highly popular with younger people.
Millennials want words that are relatable and relaxed. They've grown up with the internet and are very news savvy. They don’t want tired old sales tactics or forceful sales copy. Words, if used correctly with heart and soul, can reach their tribe. By consistently advocating for causes and opening up an honest dialogue, companies publicly project authenticity and a genuine devotion to making the world a better place.
These are the stories we need now.
